  Riverford sustainable development project

Many people and businesses genuinely want to do the right thing for our planet.  Two years of study with The University of Exeter have taught us that the right thing is often far from obvious and frequently confounds initial expectations.

After two years, we think we have the answers to these questions and many more. We have made this website to explain what we have learnt, what we still need to find out and how we are using that knowledge to make Riverford a more sustainable business.

The Riverford Sustainable Development Project was a two-year collaboration with the University of Exeter and the Technology Strategy Board under the Knowledge Transfer partnership programme.

This Partnership received financial support from the Knowledge Transfer Partnerships programme (KTP). KTP aims to help businesses to improve their competitiveness and productivity through the better use of knowledge, technology and skills that reside within the UK Knowledge Base. KTP is funded by the Technology Strategy Board along with the other government funding organisations.
